I already dose my two-part via dosing pumps. Is there any point in running kalk in my top-off water?

I know it might help keep pH stable, which I am not terribly concerned about, but are there any other benefits not already covered by the two-part?

not since your already dosing... you could stop dosing 2 part and just use kalk in top off to maintain proper calcium, alk, and mag... its prolly cheaper using mrs. wages pickling lime, or kalk+ than having to buy 2 part, it was for me..

I would stick with what is working. While Kalk may aid in a young tank, as SPS / LPS colonies grow, you will need to supplement your Ca, Alk, and Mag needs. If you are keeping your parameters stable with 2-part, there's no need in making a change.

Unless your pH is alarmingly low, I wouldn't give it a 2nd thought.

I use kalk drip which acts as my top off. I used the two part but I would forget to dose sometimes. Kalk is cheaper but and works for me since I am terrible at the 2 part routine. My kalk drip works for me since I get lazy with 2 part.
