Any research on colloidal silver for bacterial infection...?

First off, no I’m not talking about the homemade stuff that’s turns you blue. There is scientific evidence that colloidal silver kills bacteria. So has there been any research into whether this could be used for fish as well? Purely a hypothetical question.

The below studies suggest that colloidal silver is toxic to fish:



The abstract of the first study concludes with this:
Thus, colloidal AgNPs should be classified as “very toxic” and “toxic” to the eleutheroembryo-larva and juvenile stages, respectively, meaning that the release of nanosilver into the aquatic environment or its direct application as an antimicrobial agent in aquaculture should no longer be allowed.
