TBH, you'll want your durso and emergency drain levels a lot lot lot higher to minimize water noise.

I would the emergency drain about 1/4" above the bottom of the weirs.

I would make the durso level about 1/2" below the bottom of the weirs. The durso level is the level of the internal passageway of the two elbows. To measure this, I would stick a tape measure hook into that passageway and measure down to the edge of the elbow. This is usually 1-3/8" for most PVC fittings.

Your main siphon looks fine.

These changes will raise the water level to just below the weirs to minimize a splashing sound in the overflow, and also make a higher delta (difference) between the durso drain and the main siphon, which also increases the head pressure.

gmacreef.com has a general recommendation of 6" or more difference between the durso level and the main siphon

All that said, your current build will work, you'll just notice a lot of water splashing noise.

I forgot to ask, is the top of the weirs box (inside the aquarium) the same level as the top of the external overflow box?

If the top of the external overflow box is lower (not a good design) then the emergency drain should be at least be about 3/4" below the top of the external box, not the weirs. You'll have to adjust the durso accordingly.
