Does anyone have any advice on opening an educational coral/reef tank business (small scale aquarium) in Swansea Wales? There isn't much info on this and there's not an Aquarium a reasonable distance for students studying this subject in my uni.....ive always wanted to open one with the sole purpose of education. Growing coral species to trade and help with my dissertation or other students at the uni.

It's been a passion of mine and I'm hitting so many dead ends for information....

Well hello everyone, I'm just dipping my toe in here as the excitement of going from freshwater to saltwater is taking it hold on me. I'm new here today and from London/Essex. Feel free to inbox me with any hints and tips on starting up a reef tank, it'll be appreciated ;)

Good luck and welcome to R2R.

The best single piece of advice I could give anyone, is take your time and never introduce too much change rapidly.

Reef keeping is steep learning curve, but when you get things right, is very rewarding.
