Hello mate, welcome aboard.
If i remember rightly you was on about moving, is that why youve downsized?

Thanks John,
That was the plan, unfortunately it didn't go to plan so I'm stuck with the little one for a fair few months yet.
How you getting on with the profilux?

I've got the dosers and kh director, that's next on the wanted list

Its a steep learning curve especially as im not really computer savvy but getting there. What I have learnt so far is that once I get it set up how I want it and learn how to use it properly it is an amazing piece of kit and would recommend it to anybody.
Ive got the KH Director and slave doser on my christmas list as ive not got any corals yet so not much point getting it yet.

There's definitely a lot to learn with them, I've watched almost all the videos, and the options seem nigh on endless.
I'm sure you'll get a grasp on it the longer you have it.
You do right holding back, be pointless it gathering dust. Particularly when you've got corals to buy and a tank of water to stabilise first.
Hope it all goes well for you

I'm really struggling to find quality corals in the UK, especially SPS.
What's the best on line shop? Everything I find looks pretty rubbish.

Where are you, there must be somewhere near you we can recommend to pick frags up, if postage is involved, sorry I can't help. :)

Wirral, Merseyside.

I have a Maidenhead Aquatics local to me and they sometimes sell SPS frags taken from colonies in their show tank. But they are very limited.
The other aquatic shops in the area are pretty poor when it comes to corals.

How close is that to Rugby, there are shops all over but you might need to travel a bit!

You're less than an hour's drive from one of the UK's best for SPS. Burscough aquatics.
Online, Jason's aquatics is good.
I've had some nice stuff shipped from white corals in Germany also, not cheap when you add on postage but if you get a few it's worth it.

as above Burscough is fantastic

though you never know there may just be someone closer who sells reasonably priced frags ;)

Not an online shop, however Reefdreams in Winchester has some gorgeous SPS all year round. Their frag fest is also on 28th December
