Most of the name brand tanks come from China, even some of the custom ones. I know my custom 180g MODE came from China. SCA is china, I'm sure Cadlights (now mode) was china. IM is probably china and many more.

My concern would be transit and any type of customer service. Have you hit up GlassCages, I got a quote that was fair. Not sure on shipping costs for them though.

Glass Cages aquariums are made in Dickson, Tennessee. Innovative Marine tanks are made in China.

This would be a big no for me. Part of what you're getting when you buy from a company who sells tanks made in China is a warranty and customer support.

If the tank makes it to you just fine and it never has any problems, then good for you, but you're playing the lottery.

Not true. Most Chinese suppliers offer warranty and customer support as well. Sure there might be some sort of language barrier, but the majority of the time you can decipher what they are saying and they are always very eager and helpful to the best of their abilities. Reputation is taken very seriously and i'd only work with manufacturers with many reviews. This is alibaba though and not so much the small qty distributors on Aliexpress.
