Had my bta since Tuesday and he started off by a couple shells so I moved them so he could have a little open area to move. Well for about 1.5 days he’s been in the same shell. Has anyone bta done this before, or seen it happen???

Yes. Leave it alone and keep monitoring it. It may/will migrates toward the powerheads.

It'll figure itself out. You can try to spot feed it if you'd like, and if it will take it

It’s just trying to attach it’s foot on something to stabilize it’s so it’s not floating around.

The crazy thing is the shell was laying on its side with the opening toward back of tank woke up this morning and it was on its end standing vertically with the opening now facing glass.

Once it’s settled. You can feed if you choose to. Ive had btas in the past that ate mysis and other foods. It helps them grow faster.

Haha. Possibly. But as long as the spot it chooses is in view and not stinging anything else I think it’s a fair location.

Fair enough I’ve had bigger bta on other tanks I guess I’m just worried about his foot getting to big for his shoe lol.

He just doesn't want to be an adult today. Figure he would hide in his shell fort.
