Does anyone have a grafted digitata ? I am not talking about a grafted setosa or a grafted monti, but an actual grafted digitata that blends nicely together with red and green color. I am not talking about taking a green digitata and a red one and then glue them together. It has to grow as one.

I have seen a ton of digi colonies growing together but never seen one make a true graft. I am curious if anyone else has done this as well.

Sounds like fun to me. Forest Fire mashed with German Blue would look awesome!

It grafted in this guys tank. Red and green fought for a while and then accepted I guess or just mutated pigment on the green digi. He gave a piece to "Ted's killer corals" who all of a sudden is MIA. I bought a piece from him and grew it out. It's a green digi for sure. Its dominant color is green. If it fully grows green it wont revert to red. I have to keep snipping it once it turns fully green just to keep the red pigment growing

I tried gluing a german blue digi and bubblegum digi next to each other to see if any grafting would occur. The blue digi started killing the bubblegum. Makes me wonder if they're actually different species/subspecies. You'd think if they were just different color variants neither would kill the other.

I have done it with a blue and green. i Should say it has happened in my tank. I had nothing to do with it. Tried other combos and did not work, forest fire did not play well with others.

I managed to graft 2 pieces together a red and a green. The red is taken as the base color on mine with green swirls running throughout. Very much like the wwc grafted cap

This is my grafted digitata. I made the post but I keep forgetting to show the picture.

Oh, and I have 4 fresh water mollies in there too. :)
