My friends think I'm crazy but I'm about to buy a ps3 so I can play final fantasy xiv: a realm reborn when it launches august 27th. Also can't wait for ffx/x2 HD in December.

I think I have it. It's layout is opposite of cod so I don't ever play it. I haven't played ps3 in two years but just started playing a little cod again.

Yea its completely different the maps are 100 times bigger and you can fly jets, helicopters etc.

I fail miserably anytime I play multiplayer war games. I prefer deep stories anyway (Almost like I am watching a long movie). ie. Arkham, Uncharted, Modern Warfare Campaign, InFamous, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Portal, and even LittleBigPlanet LOL. :wink:

Haha you remind me of my dad he likes all of the same games except little big planet lol, he has all of the final fantasys ever made and metal gear solid and all of the game strategy books that are as thick as phone books and hes more into long stories too hes always playing somthing that is rpg but his new favorite is Red Dead Redemption and Dead Red Redemption, both realy good games, you should try them out!

I'm pretty sure they said PS4 will have backwards compatibility. If you still want a PS3, wait until the PS4 comes out (The PS3 price will drop by a lot).

I will have to check them out. I am excited for The Last of Us and Arkham Origins!

I can't wait for Battlefront 3 (at long last they are making it!) and Star Wars 1313.

I think the backwards compatibility on the ps4 will be downloads from the ps store. The ps4 runs on a different chip set than the cell tech of the ps3.

By preorderingbthe the ffxiv ce I'll get early access to start a week before launch. As of right now no plans to put it on ps4 so I'm going to snag a ps3 off ebay. Plus I'm going with the xbox one. The ps3 will only be for those two final fantasy games.
