No it’s just the brown algae it’s not coming off easily. Lemme get a picture in white light.

Yup, time to upgrade the tool belt. Mag floats only get the easy stuff. Need a scraper. Mine has various attachments for the wand and works very well.

They have different sizes depending on your aquarium. That's the one I use.
