Anyone know what Hybrid Yellow Tang is??

This is a hybrid yellow tang im thinking of getting
Anyone know what type or mix this is??

Then ask the seller what it's "mixed" with. It looks like a yellow tang to me.

The color looks a little off compared to mine. The face is a bit pale but doesn't look like any hybrid images I have seen.

Most likely not a hybrid, looks identical to a yellow Scopas which is a type of koi scopas. If it is in fact a hybrid, it would be with a scopas, but the features aren't really intermediate between the two species.

From what I can tell, I has some very light lines on it, looks like a scopas mix to me…

Not necessarily a hybrid, probably just a yellow scopas. Some of them turn out like that, scopas can be extremely variable. Here's a few other yellow scopases (scopi?) I found.

Yeah, a lot of places seem to list yellow scopas tangs as “Hybrid Yellow Scopas Tang” regardless of if they’re actually a hybrid or not.
