A guy from WY got these in a bag of snails. I think they're some type of Trematode that is why I am posting here. They have a flagellum and move very quickly. @Humblefish ?

Only other image I have. They don't move like any flatworms I've ever seen.

Pretty confident they are Trematodes. They are probably parasitic to the snails, they may go on to develop into flukes that are then parasitic to fish.
Not a lot of information to be had sorry.

Cool image.

Thanks, @Tahoe61 and @KJ I saw some images that looked similar to these under Trematodes - I think the flagellum gives it away. You, know its just one of those things you don't see every day.

A bizarre flatworm that uses other animals to become parasitic to yet a different animal. Some are parasitic to snails at one point in their life cycle to develop into a stage where they are parasitic to birds. Freaky stuff and complicated.
