Has anyone ever used the Neptune flow sensors to measure the flow from the Vectra L1? I am currently trying to decide how I want to plumb my system and if I will get the flow I want out of the L1. I plan on running redundant pumps so I need about 1500gph from each pump at a head of 8-9ft. I know the published flow chart puts me over 1500gph at ~8 feet of head and 1300gph at 9ft. Although this is the published flow I was curious if anyone has actually measured it. I would hate to spend a few hundred dollars plumbing the pump only to redo it because I cant get the flow I want. Worst case scenario I will use the Vectra for my frag tanks or manifold and go with the RD150 or RD230 for the application.

I measured flow on my M1, and it was about where I'd expected it; but, it was on a closed loop so very little back pressure.

So if flow increases linearly with power output the pump max for you would be around 1025gph. How much head pressure do you think you have?? I am increasing my plumbing up to 2” in hopes to get more flow. Looking at it this way, it may be more energy efficient to just run RD pumps. Decisions decisions.

Really I don't know how many pressure it has. But if you install 2" pipe and max power, it has to help.
I have in this point because pump is before an uv light and is the correct flow that it needs
