My question is I have my torch in the sand bed, should I move it a bit higher? I have the Mars aqua 300 watt led over a 65g. Get 100 par at bottom of tank. Does it need more?

Mine is also on the sand bed I prob get more par than 100 but I think your ok
They Usually like 150-250 par

I hate when people say 2 mouths then proceed to charge for 2 heads. It takes torches months to completely split from 2 mouths to 2 heads

Everything in this thread just looks like run-of-the-mill green or orange torches. I don't understand this "holy grail" torch that looks like just another torch under heavy blue lighting, marked up to $400. Maybe I'm just a curmudgeon.
