my only advice would be to not dress up in all those tight spandex clothes like all the marylanders do. "hey look at me....i'm like lance armstrong"......sure you are..wink, wink. :)

the C&O canal is always a relaxing place to ride if youre looking for a peaceful ride.

LOL!!! Not skinny enough for that. Even if I was I wouldn't put myself through that torment.

lol! same here. my bike has just been hanging in my garage collecting dust, but i used to ride trails alot.

C&O canal is definitely a great place to ride...very flat trails which allow you to cover long distances with ease.

Very nice bike! My first Trek was a 1987 Trek 1200. I now have a carbon Trek 5200. You should come down to Roanoke, VA and ride the mountains with me  You will enjoy the bike!

Nice bike. I have a Diamondback Insight 2 Hybrid. I have ridden and hiked the C&O many times, beautiful place.

i ride but i think we do things a bit differently. the only pavement my bike sees is when i am dive bombing down a huge set of stairs or off the side of a wall when we are out on a night urban assult ride.

dont have a picture from a ride on the pic but i ride a specialized Big hit FSR III.
it is just about stock except i switched the ****fers and derailers to XTR, changed the rotors, and upgraded the cranks and low gear. heres a stock pic but i will post some pics from a few of our rides when i get home tonight.

i think i am starting to get to that point as well. my friends always joke about how dumb i am for paying as much as i do for a bike that i have to power myself. you could buy cars for the price some of these bikes cost. silly really but then again lkook at the price of some of the corals we buy. i guess its all about what ya like
