Anyone rocking the Olympus tg6??

I just picked one up I was wondering who else has one!?

What settings do you recommend under blues? Do I still need a filter for it?

We have 2 Olympus TG cameras, one older and one newer, the TG6. We snorkel with it a lot and use Photoshop to improve the images.

If you use it in the tank with white lights on it takes good photos. If you use it with heavy blue lighting, you'll need a yellow filter. Currently I use my Samsung G20 with a #765 Lee Yellow filter for blue lit tank photos. But I'm looking into making a filter for both my TG 6 and my Nikon P900.

Awesome! Do you have any pics you've taken with the #765 Lee? Also did you make it yourself? I'm trying to find the best setup to take pictures under blues with this cam. The whites looks INCREDIBLE! ha

I used a 'swatch book' from Lee. The samples are small (1.5" x 3.5"). But that is big enough to hold in front of the lens of a cell phone camera.

The left is no filter with a Galaxy S20, the right is the same camera and just the Lee Yellow filter held in front of the lens. No Photoshop enhancements.

I will probably buy 2 neutral density filters for both my Olympus and my Nikon. And that way I can buy sheets of filter material, cut it and put it between the two neutral density filters. This is the same thing I did with a solar filter (the almost black one you almost can't see through) in order to take solar eclipse photos at Clemson back in 2017.

Then I found that the planet Mercury was going to transit in front of the sun. It's visible from Earth once every 5 to 8 years. The very, very small dark dot just left of the center of the sun is Mercury. The total transit time was something like 4 hours.
