The plan is buy LOTS of pods for about 4-6 months add the ruby red buy more pods wave some mysis/pellets infront of its face hope it eats them thoughts?

Same care as a mandarin dragonette. You would would have received more responses if you asked about that species.

I hate to jump on people, but it will be very difficult to keep one fed in a 15 gallon.

You will have to regularly add pods. A tank that size can’t produce enough to keep them fed whilst avoiding getting eaten. So it is possible just not recommended.

i have never kept dragonettes but i wanted one, my LFS said i might have to put in pods (i cant quite remember if this is what they said it was a long time ago) but anyways my LFS said i might have put in pods in my 75 3 times a week. as i said i cant quite remember, also how old is the tank?

Depends on how many are in a pack. Since they will be hunting constantly you can assume they will eat more than 1000 pods a day. Upwards of 7000 a week. Twist fish will eat pods so if you have other fish factor that in as well.

Yes I doubt it survival rating in this size aquarium, a 15g would work better to culture copepods x 5.
I would definitely not risk it

I kept a mated pair in a 20 Gallon for a couple years. They both started eating frozen Mysis after a week or so.

i also wouldnt get it, if your heart is set on one, you should get one when you get a bigger tank, it will be much easier. :)
