Anyone using MP10s on 1/2 inch glass?

Right now I have 2 mp 40s on my 120 gallon. Looking to add two mp10s for my back glass, but after doing so reading it looks like 3/8 is the max? Is there any way to rig them up to hold? Maybe take out the rubber spacer?

I think you will be fine if you remove the rubber spacer, or just get a cheap Jeabo WP40.

I want them to sync with my mp40s. I can get two for $300 so even if it doesn't work with my glass I should be able to resell no problem

I do without any mods.

The hold is a bit weak, but they do work fine. I've never had one fall off in 2 years either.
