Im curious to see how you've done as the Apex Fusion doesn't give you the option to do so:I've got Google Fi and a Pixel 2XL and I have no problem getting text messages from Apex alarms. I tried to look and see how I have it set up, but I don't think I can do that from my work computer... But it absolutely can be done.
I tried with them and didn't get any text messagesFi uses T-mobile and Sprint last I checked so I would just pick one of those, maybe whichever your phone uses more.
That's a brilliant idea! Thanks for sharing, will test it tonight!I managed to do this by first setting up an email notification on the Apex for the alarm. Then in gmail, I set up a filter for anything coming from [email protected] and set it up to forward to [email protected] where 1112223333 is my mobile phone number (not my real number of course). That's a service that Google FI provides that forwards the email as a text message. Been running like this for almost 2 years and had it save my bacon several times.
