Does anyone know when Apex will support sending alarm text messages to Google Fi users? At the moment only the four major ones are available on Apex settings...

I've got Google Fi and a Pixel 2XL and I have no problem getting text messages from Apex alarms. I tried to look and see how I have it set up, but I don't think I can do that from my work computer... But it absolutely can be done.

Im curious to see how you've done as the Apex Fusion doesn't give you the option to do so:

Honestly, I think I would just try putting in Verizon and your phone number and see if that works. I'll check my details when I get home though.

Fi uses T-mobile and Sprint last I checked so I would just pick one of those, maybe whichever your phone uses more.

I managed to do this by first setting up an email notification on the Apex for the alarm. Then in gmail, I set up a filter for anything coming from [email protected] and set it up to forward to [email protected] where 1112223333 is my mobile phone number (not my real number of course). That's a service that Google FI provides that forwards the email as a text message. Been running like this for almost 2 years and had it save my bacon several times.

That's a brilliant idea! Thanks for sharing, will test it tonight!
