I am wanting to setup my leak detection module on my apex classic. Can I use one sensor for my skimmer putting it on the top of the lid to detect when it’s over full to shut off the skimmer?

You can put the sensor anywhere. Just program the skimmer outlet to turn off if that particular ALD sensor is triggered. Just keep in mind, the sensors are pretty sensitive.

When was the last time you look at the lid of the skimmer collection cup? It is doable but the ald sensor will not last long. The sensor is not designed to be stored in an environment with that much moisture. A float switch would be a lot better choice in this case

+1 on that, they don't last long if exposed to constant moisture. They are designed more along the lines of being placed on the floor or in the stand where they only get wet now and then.
