So everything was reading perfect not long ago. Now my readings aren't as consistent. Like I'll get 7.98 and next reading I'll get 8.16 then next reading 8.17 then I'll go back down once in a blue I'll go from 8.0 to like 8.35 then back down. I recently calibrated it. Should i take it apart and clean cuvette?

If your system is consuming alkalinity, then there are normal daily fluctuations as alkalinity is consumed after lights are on and replenished at night. But if your system hasn’t changed then you might need to clean (your trident I’m guessing).

Those numbers would be normal fluctions in my tank if the higher numbers are at night and lower numbers in the day.

Idk if i don't understand you or u don't understand me. When alk is consumed it's gone. So if my ALK is 8.2 at 6am and i didn't dose how is my ALK 8.4 at 12pm. That's what I'm trying to say. When ALK is taken from the water it doesn't come back without dosing. Right?

Yes, you are right. I assumed you were dosing alkalinity somehow.
