Well I upgraded to ApexEL last month and my existing Netgear N300 isn't cutting it as apex keeps disconnecting.

I'm looking for suggestions on what routers have worked for you. I was looking at this ASUS RT-AC5300 Tri-Band router but it's expensive @ $250.

What works?

I ran into some issues trying to connect my Apex. What I found is that I needed to turn off the N connection on 2.4 Ghz network.

I would see the same thing as you.. it would connect then disconnect. After I turned off the N connection, it connected just fine.

Neptune states not to use the 5 Ghz network. They do not mention anything about N. N is dual band and it looks like they are using an older chip for wifi? Maybe that will help?
