Apex classic replacing screen

if i replace my apex classic controller screen do i need to reprogram my outlets or does all the chips and things reside in the base unit?

The Display module does not require any programming. Think of it like plugging in a LCD monitor to a computer. They are interchangeable. It simply displays what you already have.

My original Apex screen broke years ago, since then I've just used the web page and Fusion, no problemo.

I want to see the Temp and Ph without a computer. Since the power fluctuations the back light has gone bad, nothing but a bright blue screen with impossible to read numbers

You can pick up used Ipad (Ebay) and use that for a display

You can pick up used Ipad (Ebay) and use that for a display
I thought of that idea however my house wi/fi power is separate from my tank power. If power goes out, only my tank room has back up power not my home internet.

If your power goes out often, you might consider a UPS for your internet router..
