I am looking for a cheap controller for my reef, and there are quite a few used Apex Classic controllers for sale.

Are you planning to continue to support the Apex Classic (software and hardware) for the foreseeable future?

Thanks

@SuncrestReef, any idea on this?
I don't have any insight into Neptune's product support lifecycle. All I know is that if you have an Apex Classic, you can still contact Neptune Support to open a ticket. The latest Apex Classic firmware was released in August 2019. Most new Apex modules (Trident, SKY, etc.) tend to require the current Apex 2016 or Apex-EL, so if you buy the Classic you will be limited on future expansion.
