Apex Controller - Cant use Virtual Outlet in Configuration

I created a bunch of virtual outlets and see them in my outputs page in fusion. It looks something like this.

Name - PUMP_10
Device - Cntl_A1
Type - virtual

However when I go to use this virtual outlet in either an outlet output or another virtual output I get the following error message.

Send Failed
//Error: line 1 - Valid keywords following If are Temp, pH, ORP, DO, Cond, Salt, Par, Feed, SwX, FLx, Error, Power, Sun, or Moon // IF PUMP_10 ON THEN OFF

Is there something else I need to configure to use these outlets in configurations?

You need "It output pump_10 on then off"

(Outlet or output are actually interchangeable, but you need to use one of em.)

The syntax is wrong - you are missing the required equal sign and “Output” keyword

If Output PMUP_10 = On Then OFF

Thanks was missing output. As a developer writing code for the apex is very frustrating.
