Apex controller pm1

Am I correct that in order to set up float switches on my apex, I would need a pm1 module and breakout box?

Just a breakout box will do for float switches. The pm1 is for an extra temp ph probes.

Yes your are correct, the main unit has 1 I/o connection for a breakout box, you do not need to get a pm1 just to add float switch. If you have the light or Jr I think that you need the pm1
