Hi, Can the new apex brain controller function without an energy bar. So it can be use only as a monitor ? I think it can be powered by a dc power supply as well

Yes. All you need is the 12v Auxilary power adapter for the Apex brain. This can work with any Apex model, from the full Apex 2016, Apex-EL, or Apex Classic.

I found the answer to my own question

• 2.1mm tip, 12V input ,0.7A DC output with a center positive electrode (Use Neptune P/N PS12)
