Apex DOS, Optical Sensors

Wondering what work has been done to develop an adaptor that would support the Apex Optical Sensor use with the DOS in place of the DDR's optical sensor...?? If one exists, that would free 2 ports from the FMM module.

That was quick! A bit different than I'd been thinking about it. I'd thought more along the lines of one end supports connection to the DOS (as this does), and the other permitted plugging in the standard Apex Optical sensor (2 of them). Thus it eases the work to replace the sensors as they fail.
