Apex el probe issue

Purchased the new apex el installed it ph probe wouldn’t calibrate. Reset the values tried manual calibration still nothing. Had a tech support call from apex worked for 15 min. 5 more emails with Neptune. To get an rma for the probe. The kicker is I have to pay the shipping back to Neptune. The unit is only a week old. Is it me or is this wrong. When you spend 500 on a controller you shouldn’t have to spend more to get one that works

Did you mention that the unit is so new to the company. I'm sure they will make it right.
