Apex fmm

I just went from the apex jr to the el .the problem I'm having is when I hook my fmm up to the el and try to update the module software my light on the fmm turns solid orange then only way I can get it working again is to hook it back up to the jr and install old update. Anyone have any ideas.thans in advance.

Are you running the most recent firmware on you base unit, 5.01 or higher? You must have this version or higher for it to work.
