If I remember correctly, I think they recommend running it for like 48hrs than calibrate it. Not sure if that would make a difference, or if anything I said is accurate you may wanna fact check me on this
Yes, the probe needs to acclimate to tank water. It has been stored in storage solution for quite some time when we get the probe. Also leave it in each solution for at least 5 minutes before calibrating and moving to the next solution. The recheck in the starting solution. Each calibration point can affect the previous ones. But the more you go through the calibration sequence the closer they will be each time since the change will be less each time through. hope this helps.
