Hi-
I am new to Apex and the pH Probe has caused multiple issues and calibration. I have calibrated it 3x’s now and have checked it against Hannah pH, my LFS also checked it with his in-store tester and Milwaukee probe and it's been off. I am tired of spending money on calibration solution. It has been a few weeks now and Neptune support has been slow to respond. Has anyone experienced this and been able to fix it or does it need to be replaced?

Thank you,

Its new. I got it at the end of June. Currently off by .42, consistently off by .33 ish. Checked with against 3 different tests.

Before calibration?
If the probe doesn’t remain wet it can cause issues. Also what’s your alk at? Temp is very low. Float the calibration solutions in tank for 10-15 min. If those temps were off the whole probe will be off. If it’s truly broken keep contacting Neptune or get a new one. I just replaced mine a few weeks ago to a double junction. Had the original for almost a year but they don’t last forever

from your image there.

Update your Apex app if its available. I do see 1 notification.
Check your water temp then....... calibrate your ph

I have had neptune ph probe that was out of the water for a couple of days that still works just fine after a calibration.

Ca solution was floated initially. It was’t left outside of water. I just moved it this weekend, that’s the only time it might have had seconds of not touching water. Kh is 8.5. It showed 7.83 today which was the highest it has been. I wonder if its finally stabilizing. Thankfully I only have softies right now. What’s double junction? I was thinking of getting Milwaukee once this one is done. I have only had it since late June so I don’t want to spend more right now but will probably replace it with a better one later on. How did you know yours wasn’t working anymore?

The notification you are seeing is from the notification that the pH is below 7.8. I can’t access apex local for some reason. I renamed it and now I can’t access it to update.

Double junction is like the step up from that one. I’m not entirely sure on the exact difference but basically they last longer and tend to swing less. Cost is more though
