When my power go's out my apex time sets it self to DEC 27 @ 10 am. It keeps all the settings for my lights and stuff but the time resets to 10am and makes my lights come on. It does this with or with out auto time, set in the time settings. It also shuts off my temp prob as well. How do I stop this from happening?:help:

It almost sounds like the backup battery, but I'd iris able to save the settings I am not sure. Maybe it reserves battery and the last thing it uses it for is the settings. Contact Neptune and see what they say. It (the battery) may need to be replaced.

Also about every hour or so after the t-5's go out I hear a click and then a quick flash of t-5 light and back to off. I have tried every out let on outlet board and this happens no matter what outlet you are in. This can not be good for my bulbs.

Will your lights do that if plugged into a wall? Are they set to come on by accident for a second or two? I don't have an apex so I don't know how it's setup.

mine did the time reset thing as well; and it was brand new when it happened. I havn't had it happen since so not sure why it happened.

Mine does the reset thing intermittently. I have noticed if the lights just flicker on and off it does not happen. I don't know went, I just figured it was normal.
