Aqua Craft salt arrived

Thank-you Aqua Craft for the salt.

Mixed up the salt yesterday and tested this morning.

First, I measured 25 gallons of rodi water into my mixing barrel and added the whole bag.

Salinity = 1.022
PH = 8.1
CA = 385
dkH = 11
mag. = 1170
Tests were done using Salifert

About usually on a small water change.
To really see the effects of a new salt on a established system, IMO you would have to use the new salt continuously for several months.
Atleast long enough to completely cycle the orignal salt out.
