Aquaforest stonefix

Anyone else struggle with this product? I used it a few years ago, fixating the aquascape in a Red Sea Reefer XL 300 that recently split in the seam. I'm in the process of setting up a new tank with CaribSea Life Rock, but I find the Stonefix to be rather crumbly, even after 24 hours. I've experimented a bit with the water:Stonefix ratio, but I'm still not confident about the longevity of the finished scape

Personally haven’t used the stone fix but know others that have to good effect. The only think I can’t think of is mixing ratios as you said.
I have used the Marcorocks equivalent and that was extremely solid.

I've used it several times with no problems.

Is it a fresh bag?

I just used it on my 150 scape. Hard as a rock and smooth. Like bricks and mortar.

I just mixed up tiny batches and did 2 or 3 joints at a time tho. Larger batches didn’t work well for me it dries pretty fast.

I used it previously, it worked well for me, my scape has now been in the tank for 3 years and its still one solid piece.
