I got my new aquamaxx cone co-3 and going to be having a custom sump made and was wondering what is the best water height for this skimmer to work in. Any input would be great.

SPECIFICATIONS
  • Volume Rating: 500 Gallons
  • Footprint: 12.6" x 14.6”
  • Height: 22.9”
  • Chamber diameter: 8”
  • Outlet size: 1” Quick-Precise adjustment valve
  • Pump (included): Modified Sicce 3.0
  • Water Flow Rate: 2600 l/Hr
  • Air Intake: 1020 l/Hr
  • Pump power consumption: 27 watts
  • Recommended Water Level: 8"-10”
  • Requires approximately 1/2" of clearance to remove collection cup

I have 3 aquamaxx and run then all at 9.3/4". I find they all work the best at that.
