Thinking about getting the aquamaxx 1.5 skimmer but I have a canopy and was wondering what the distance is from where it rests on the tank to the top of the collection cup?

I have 6 1/2” from the top of the aquarium lip to the bottom inside of the canopy.

You can tilt it back the cup is adjustable I have to keep mine pretty high to keep it from filling up too fast maybe if you added a valve to turn down airflow you could keep the cup lower

Please excuse the almost full gross cup… it’s been a long week

Yea of coarse, it’s very frustrating trying to eyeball this stuff online and hope it works. The thing was significantly bigger than I thought it would be, but I was able to squeeze it onto that biocube i am very impressed with it though. My ph was 7.5 I added a co2 scrubber to this and now I am looking for soleniods for airline tubing to close it off when the ph is above 8.3 because it pushes 8.4 now.
