Hello,

First post on this forum, but I have been enjoying reading it for a while. I'm upgrading from a 50 gallon cube to a 75, and want to get a new skimmer. I've been impressed with what I've read about the Aquamaxx Cone-S skimmers, but they seem to be completely unavailable at the moment. I'm okay with the 4-6 week wait time listed on vendor websites to get one, but am wondering if that is a "real" wait time, or if I'll be doomed to not getting one for much longer than that? Has anyone ordered one with that amount of backorder time quoted and then actually received it on time? Anyone have an opinion on if they are worth the wait?

I could just get a Reef Octopus Classic 150, but I've seen people saying that it is a new design for Reef Octopus, and that they would wait to see if it was any good. Has it been redesigned recently?

Thanks for any input!
