Hi everyone! I'm trying to add-on to my 24 gal aquapod's hood. I haven't updated much since my first attempt at keeping my first hammer coral. Anyways I want to ask you guys, what are some good non-toxic paints I can use that will not corrode or damage my system? I'm trying to connect 3 or 4 2x4s together and paint them black like the hood with the half- gloss paint the stock hood has. Reason being I have a aqua euro 2 nano skimmer that takes up 2 inches of vertical height. I want out of this ghetto look. I would really like to know some non-toxic materials I can use for this project.

Currently using these 3 pieces of 2x4. I'm going to make a groove and pop that sucker on the makeshift frame. Shouldn't be too difficult. But I'm just concerned about what paint or material I should preferably use.
