Aquarium Racking System Help

So im looking to build a racking system for fish only for feeding them up or to quaratine / treat.

How have people built there racking systems please ? photos and help would be great.

Filter sponges in each tank - ( so it easier to treat or feed up that fish ? )

Have you sumped all the tanks ? ( if so how please ?

and any tips or help would be great as i really want to build one but im also thinking it might just be eaiser to buy a shop grade one lol.

Just an idea here, to get your Brain-storming started. Not exactly a "rack", but you get the idea. Of course, there is not 10-feet of separation if you are worried about any disease becoming aerosolized. Best wishes.

thank yo i have loads of ideas in my head i guess lol its just i would like to try get away from 1 million plugs and was wonder what people do to filter the water for each tank lol

by the looks of ig you have 1 filter per tank ?

My LFS uses a two tall rack of 20g tall tanks, a HoB filter and heater only on each; no sumps, no shared water…

This rack is for quarantine/hospital use; you won’t want water intermingling between tanks!

You want to avoid sumps on QT tanks purely because the plumbing/etc becomes a pain to sanitize between batches of livestock!

this is why i thought a large sponge filter as im going to have a few tanks to hold fish from tank break downs, heaters not a problem as the fish room with have a ac unit to keep the tempture

Not a rack system like you were asking about, but currently I QT using an Innovative Marine 15 gallon all-in-one (AIO) tank, with cycled sponges in the rear chamber. I can divide it with egg grate (and some random magnets) if I want to do two fish at a time.
