well im getting a different tank this weekend and they said it needs resiliconed but until i see for myself i wont know and hate spending money on things not needed

Honestly, it depends on the tank (it better be unique) but if a tank needs re-sealed i would not pay for it. Take it for free, but dont pay for it.
