I guess I went with a more minimalist approach when I set this tank of several years ago. I never really did a ton with coral previously; kind of let it go on autopilot for a while and have whipped it back into shape though I'm still working on getting phosphate consistently low weekly to every two-week GFO changes. I've recently added small frags, mostly LPS that can chill on the bottom or lower levels but would like to incorporate SPS in the future. I just feel like I have minimal room based on the rock scape for more than a few pieces. I'm guessing the only real option is to build upwards and possible bridge over the middle.

Looking for ideas or examples people may have of 120's or similar sizes with pretty good SPS coverage.

Also, when adding rockwork - are there any do's/don'ts to be aware of. I'm assuming if the rockwork is cured, IE in buckets/cans of water to leech out phosphates first there's not a problem with quantity added a time?

Thank you

I would higher one of the rockpiles and try to work with a couple of shelf rocks to create naturally looking overhangs with spots for corals. I would not make a connecting bridge as it makes your tank look smaller. However it would be nice at one of the sides to break up the pile in 2 separate islands with a smaller bridge connection.

A variation in height would already help a lot. ( I personally think your current scape looks pretty good too)

I asked chatgpt to put my ideas into a picture :)
