The line is nearly 1/2 mile long here and there is no line for VIPs so even though we paid 3x as much we still have to stay in the huge line.

Was that just because you didn't come at 10am?

I think they finally started telling people that they may not get in if they hadn't bought it online.

There was a group of guys in front of me that had driven 8 hours and had not bought tickets. Not sure that is good planning!

I went on Saturday and got there at about 3. Since I printed my tickets, I got to walk straight up and get my wristband and go right in. Was told that if you had your tickets already, you didn't have to wait in line. Not sure why you had to wait.

As for the venue, I found it to be OK. I wasn't all that impressed. I've seen better and more diverse coral offerings at local frag swaps. There was a whole lot of the same stuff for sale from every vendor.

The number one thing that annoyed me was the number of coral vendors that wouldn't list prices. They left it all blank and when you asked for general pricing, the response was, "Just point out the coral you are interested in." Turned me off from so many vendors. At least state whats cheap and what isn't. Give me some kind of idea. I don't want to sit there and quiz the vendor for 5 minutes on prices.

Not sure if I will go next year or not. Will see if they change some things.

I went Saturday and got there about 1.30 and the line was long, the kid behind me went and checked if we had to wait with printed tickets and was told yes. I got in the doors and they separated the printed ticket holders then. Took about 30 or 40 minutes in line. Halfway through waiting in line, they came and said tickets were sold out. The guy in front of me and several others left, but they were selling tickets again when my wife got there around 230pm.

I think it was that much due to its size. It was about 1.5x time my hand.

Did Chicago have this kind of turn out? If so, I would think they would have a better handle on how to handle the lines.

I find all the frag swaps are like that, at least for me. Maybe it is because every thing I like is always in the "ask" section.

I heard the lines were long and selling out out. I bought tickets at 9:30 Sunday morning. Showed up at 11:15 and only had 15 min wait to get in.. I guess I just was lucky and beat the crowds. The show was good but would like to have a lot more hardware manufactures there. Overall it was fun.. spent well over 4 hours and meet lots new folks
