Aquatic Life Hybrid & Kessil A360X Mounting

Greets all. Apologies if this is something that's been beaten to death. I thought I'd post how I mounted my Kessils to a 61" hybrid fixture, and what screws I used.

I ordered the 61" Hybrid Fixture, and 4 Kessils. The I used the rectangular brackets. There are enough in the fixture kit to mount a ton of A360Xs. I used four, and think I still have 4 more brackets.



The little rings that came in the kit worked, but I replaced with with screws used for bikes from Amazon. The were a pack of 4, 5mm M5 screws for water bottles: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GDBV7II. Also, because it's two kinds of metal, I did use a touch of anti-seize compound on each screw.

Thanks for sharing. Just wondering, how is this working out for you over time?

My tank is new. After two months, things are still solid. I had planned on getting the new mounts for the 360X. But probably won't now. This method works just fine for me.

Yeah, that looks pretty good. Your setup looks similar to mine. I have to 300 Gyres. I'll probably be mounting my lights today.
