Is this suitable for corals? sPS in particular? There are 2 t5ho 2 actinic blue and LED night lights

I have the aquatic life light on my 50 breeder. I have a mixed reef and it works great for me. I would stick with the aquatic bulbs. I tried geissman they were supposed to be better but they didn't perform or last as long.

Rags2riches and I have a 75 gallon frag tank with an aquatic life light on it. It works well. I think you will be fine.

I have 2 of them linked together on my 30 gallon and they do great. I replaced the stock bulbs with ATI bulbs (2x Blue plus, Purple plus, and Aquablue special) after about 11 months and all the corals started doing much better. Overall they are great for the price and do the job :)

What size tank are you running a 2 bulb over? If you are only running actinic then it isn't going to sustain sps or corals in general. Actinic is for color supplementation to make colors pop and fluoresce. You want bulbs in the 10-20k range for best color and growth
