Has anyone had good luck using aquavitro 8.4. What is the best method of dosing?

I am thinking about trying it to bring my PH up to a normal steady level and that is what people have recommended

Aquavitro 8.4 is an ordinary buffer with bicarbonate and carbonate. Use it like any buffer. Dissolve it in some fresh water first, then add it.

I don't see how it is any better than sodium carbonate, but it is fine to use if you like it. The 8.4 will not raise pH as much as sodium carbonate, and much less than using sodium hydroxide.
