Just wondering if anybody out there might know what this thing's work it's about 3 inches across that is taken with me light off of the phone I have an Android 5S and all the colors you see him yet is what you get there is no enhancement no nothing if I turn the flashlight on cause the lights to shut off in my shop flashlight on I was on the mushroom and I've got four or five beautiful images like that wondering for a true softy out there what is something like that worth

Here's some other ones they are definitely purple with a gold rim any input would be great thank you

Do you have a clue what it is? I think it is a plate coral that is spawning new plates, a vendor put up a thread not too long ago of his plate coral that died and it had a bunch of other plates growing off it such as your specimen. I'm not 100% positive on this id but it does make sense that the different colored "polyps" are actually new individual plate corals.

It is some type of mushroom, I assume Rhodactis. Aqua SD has had them for sale in some of their weekly updates. I think they were usually around $150 and up. If you really want one, they may have them and just haven't been posting them lately. The purple are what used to be called tonga mushrooms. I see them for sale all the time.

Thank you for your input that helps a lot I just haven't seen the purple ones with the rim the way they have it because it's gold that's the only thing that threw me off but once again thank you so much I will get ahold of Aqua SD
