Got the 57 Deep Blue for a great price, and decided to run an Emerald 26 sump in the custom DIY stand. This tank was an upgrade from a sumpless 29 Bow Front. So far I have the following equipment.

57 Deep Blue Rimless
2 - Vortec MP10wQD
2 - AI Prime HD
Emerald 26 Sump
Tunze Eco Chic Refugium Light
Reef Octopus 150SSS Skimmer
Since Syncra 3.0 Return Pump
Aqua Top 300W Titanium Heater
Tunze Osmolator 3155 ATO

Tank looks great. How are the mp10s doing on the 1/2 inch glass?
They are great, I have not had any problem with them falling. However, I have the cord ran up and zip tied to a cord mount. When I first put them on the tank they were just hanging there, if you bumped them they would fall off.

Well had an issue while I was in the hospital having a spinal fusion. The day after my surgery, my wife calls and said the sump overflowed and my return pump shorted out. Well I know for a fact that I had plenty of room for all the backflow that could come from the DT. The only thing that I could think of is for some reason my skimmer started producing a ton of bubbles and overflowed continuously until my wife got home from the hospital. So after this catastrophe, I have decided to get a new stand and do some additional automation to the tank. This will hopefully stop this from ever happening again. The new stand will be delivered and installed by my LFS the first week of March. Right now my sump is shut down and I am filtering with a Aquaclear 70. Plus the new stand is bigger 48"×18 which will allow me to get a bigger tank later

Evening

Sorry to hear about the troubles. Hope the healing goes well. Of course the equipment picks the worst time to die out. Sounds like at least it wasn’t a total loss. Keep us posted on the new stand

Where u at in nc?

Well the past 8 months or so have really slowed down the progression of my build. Not only the Covid-19 issue and me being immunocompromised, but my spine issues have gotten worse. I am unfortunately looking at a 3rd fusion (complete revision) of the first and second surgeries. I will find out exactly how extensive this next surgery will be tomorrow. I finally get the results of the MRI I had this past Wednesday. So if there are any prayer warriors who read this post, please feel free to send some up as I can use as many as possible.

I finally got the custom stand installed in June after a ton of delays. The first stand I ordered came in terribly built so I refused delivery and had to find another builder. My LFS recommended the woodworker they use for all their custom stands so I went with him. The stand he built came in awesome. It was perfect and leaves room for me to get a bigger tank. This current tank is a 57, and I had him build me a stand that will fit a 90 perfectly.

Please excuse the mess underneath as it is extremely hard for me to get down there to work on anything. With this bigger stand I was able to add a Trigger Systems Emerald 5 Gallon ATO Reservoir. For my ATO, I am running the Tunze Osmolator 3155. I was also able to add a DP-4 dosing pump with dosing containers made from glass Voss water bottles. My most recent addition, last week, is an EcoTech Gen 5 XR15 Pro light. Hopefully that will be more than enough light for the tank, the 2 Primes were just not strong enough to cover the whole tank all the way to the bottom.

I am going to try and mount everything in the sump area to clean it up before my next surgery. That will also make it easier for my wife to take care of it while I am recovering. As always, any input/suggestions is greatly appreciated!
