ArctiPods gone bad?

I just bought some Reef Nutrition Arctipods. My fish just spit them out. They voraciously eat pellets, flake and frizen food.

Do fish like arctipods usually?

Is it possible that these got warm and went bad somewhere in the distribution chain?

They are not out of date.
