How can I tell if they are dead or just pooping? J have 5 anenomes but today 2 of them look nasty, shriveled and white bits coming off of one of them. No movements. Mouth gaping. White stuff both ends.., I added some live sand which clouded the tank yesterday, maybe this did it..? I would hate to fish if they are alive as you can see a couple are fine. Parameters good. I added charcoal today and separated them.

White-bits coming off of them are a bad sign, pics would help a lot to better help your problem
